AutoQuest Trailers, a locally owned and operated family business, is in the process of expanding its workforce. We are currently seeking a diligent Shop Assistant to undertake responsibilities such as lot maintenance, building upkeep, pre-delivery inspections of trailers, and providing support to our shop technicians and parts manager. This position offers potential for growth and success within a supportive and rewarding work environment.
The ideal candidate for this role will be expected to:
- Thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced setting that necessitates frequent engagement with staff and customers.
- Shoulder responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and order of the lot, yard, and shop.
- Possess mechanical skills or show a tendency for mechanical work.
- Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.
- Exhibit a positive outlook and strong work ethic.
- Hold a valid driver's license issued by the province of Manitoba.
- Be prepared to undergo a background check.
- Commitment to long term employment.
Work Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
$20.00 - $25.00/hour to start. Many opportunities for growth, in job role and financially.
