We are currently seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to join our Port Coquitlam team.

Position Summary
The Production Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading daily production operations while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and customer requirements are consistently achieved.
The successful candidate will provide leadership to production employees, support training and development, and ensure manufacturing processes operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate production employees to achieve daily production goals.
- Assign employees and coordinate staffing requirements to support production needs.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while minimizing waste and downtime.
- Troubleshoot production issues and work with maintenance and other departments to resolve problems.
- Support equipment start-ups, changeovers, and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, GMPs, food safety programs, and quality standards.
- Participate in safety, sanitation, and GMP inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Train and develop employees to improve performance and support career growth.
- Maintain accurate production records and communicate results to management.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all employees follow safe work practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and company objectives.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. (Preferred)
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the production floor.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and quality standards.
- Basic computer skills and experience with production documentation.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of production supervisory experience. Preferred.
- Food manufacturing experience. Preferred, but not required.
- Experience with automated processing and packaging equipment. Preferred.
- Knowledge of HACCP, sanitation programs, and continuous improvement practices. Preferred.
