Douglas Oak Carpentry is a growing residential renovation company based in London, Ontario. We specialize in high-quality renovations, including kitchens, bathrooms, basements and additions. We take pride in excellent craftsmanship, clear communication, and creating a great experience for our clients.
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive Construction Coordinator / Operations Assistant to help support the day-to-day operations of our growing business.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, communication, and helping keep projects moving behind the scenes. You will work closely with the owner, clients, designers, trades, and suppliers to ensure projects stay organized and on track.
Responsibilities
- Maintain project schedules and help coordinate upcoming work
- Communicate with clients regarding project updates, scheduling, and next steps
- Organize project documents, drawings, quotes, and selections
- Assist with permit documentation and coordination with designers/engineers
- Track project tasks and follow up on outstanding items
- Assist with preparing estimates and gathering supplier information
- Coordinate material orders and delivery timelines
- Maintain organized digital project files
- Help improve systems and processes as the company continues to grow

Experience That Would Be an Asset
- Construction or renovation experience
- Experience working with contractors, designers, architects, or trades
- Knowledge of residential construction processes
- Experience with estimating, scheduling, or project coordination
- Familiarity with construction drawings or permit processes

Position Details
- Part-time position (approximately 10–20 hours per week to start)
