Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a smooth and efficient dental office environment. Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and recommend appropriate preventive care.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including orthodontic treatments if applicable.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software.
- Prepare treatment rooms for procedures, ensuring sterilization protocols are followed diligently.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Support pediatric patients with gentle care tailored to their needs, fostering a positive experience.
- Stay current with dental terminology, techniques, and best practices through ongoing education.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice.
- Experience working in a dental office setting; familiarity with Dentrix is preferred.
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately.
- Experience with dental assisting tasks or familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
- Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Pay: $48.00-$55.00 per hour
