We are seeking a friendly and professional Food & Beverage Team Member to join our busy McArthur House Café team. In this role, you will take and prepare orders at the window, make food for our retail case, and keep the café running smoothly, all while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders at the café window and process payments through the POS system.
- Prepare food and beverage orders accurately and to standard.
- Make retail food items for the store, including cookies, tarts, frozen dinners, ice cream, and other prepared goods.
- Complete kitchen prep work as needed.
- Wash dishes and maintain a clean kitchen and workstation.
- Clean and maintain the café space throughout the day.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the food menu and preparation methods.
- Maintain working knowledge of our wines, ciders, and spritzers to answer guest questions and support sales.
- Provide excellent, friendly customer service to all guests.
- Support other tasks as needed, including stocking supplies and assisting with inventory.
Qualifications:
- A friendly and professional attitude is essential.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Food service or kitchen experience is an asset.
Training:
On-the-job training will be provided.
Pay: From $18.60 per hour
