We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Scale House Attendant for a part-time opportunity. This role is responsible for weighing incoming and outgoing vehicles, processing customer transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with the public, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable performing administrative tasks.
THE JOB
- Weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles using the scale system
- Accurately process customer charges and payments
- Create, maintain, and organize required documentation and records
- Enter and update information within computer systems
- Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service
- Verify and record scale readings accurately
- Assist with load inspections when required
- Communicate effectively with customers and site personnel
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to remain professional under pressure
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and the ability to accurately record information
- Computer literacy and experience with data entry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
