Overview
D-Rayn Contracting Ltd. is seeking an experienced and dependable Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team in the Peace Region of Northern Alberta. This full time position offers a competitive, incentive-based pay structure where drivers earn a percentage of gross revenue on the loads they deliver. This role requires a high level of responsibility and the ability to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and efficiency during transportation. This role involves safely operating commercial trucks to transport fluid in the oil and gas industry. Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 trucks for the transportation of fluid in the oil and gas industry in Northern Alberta.
- Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, brakes, and other critical components to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch operators to provide real time updates on delivery status, including any changes to routes, delays, or issues during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery of logs for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Adhere to all applicable safety regulations while operating within industry standards.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license is required
- Minimum 5 years commercial truck driving experience with a clean driving record.
- Required safety certifications: H2S Alive, First Aid, CSO (additional tickets will be supplied by the employer).
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate proficiently in English
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with dispatch and clients.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with tablets and basic printing systems, are preferred.
Working Hours
- This position requires 12-hour shifts for two weeks (including weekends), rotating between day and night shifts.

Pay: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
