Kuper Academy Junior School is looking for a full-time French Teacher to join their energetic and devoted team.
Position responsibilities:
- Plan and teach elementary level French lessons (FSL)
- Teach and evaluate students according to MEES criteria
- Complete administrative work as needed: attendance, interim reports, report cards, etc
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences as required
- Maintain professional and consistent communication with administration, colleagues and parents
- Escort students to and from specialty classes as needed
- Complete supervision duties before, during and after school
- Participate in school events (in and outside school hours)
- Lead two ECAs during the school year
Requirements:
- License to teach elementary students in Quebec
- Comfortable integrating technology into teaching and learning (ipads, apps, etc)
- Proficiency in the French language
- Canadian work permit
- A love of teaching children!
