Duties
- Greet customers warmly with a lively, welcoming attitude and assist them with their orders.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare simple food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and providing correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front counter area, food prep stations, and dining space in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety protocols in a food industry setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations.
- Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or food industry roles is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
