About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and driven full-time Lawyer to join their team . You will take on meaningful work, collaborating with experienced colleagues while having the autonomy to manage your own cases. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a variety of civil litigation cases, including legal research, drafting, and court appearances.
- Provide tailored legal advice to clients across our diverse practice areas.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
- Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases to deliver optimal outcomes for our clients.
- Contribute to the firm’s growth by developing and expanding your client base.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
- A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent, and membership (or eligibility for membership) with the Law Society of Alberta.
- A minimum of 5 years of legal practice with a growing or established client base. Your compensation structure will reflect both your experience and your ability to grow your client base.
- A second language, such as Mandarin or Spanish, will be considered an asset to assist our diverse client base.
- Familiarity with a legal practice area such as employment law, family law, real estate, corporate or other related practices.
- Strong research skills and the ability to provide sound legal advice.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication for effective client interaction and case presentations.
- Ability to collaborate within a team and work independently when needed
