Job description
Atlas-Apex Roofing (BC) Inc. located in Richmond, BC, are looking for experienced, practiced Foreman Roof Technicians and Roof Assistant/Labourer positions for full time employment.
The wage range from $31.00 - $55.00/hr for the Foreman/Journeyman/Roofer/Apprentice positions relative to skills, industry knowledge and qualifications**
The wage range from $28.00 - $30.00/hr for Crew Assistant positions relative to skills, industry knowledge and qualifications**
Responsibilities:
- Installing, repairing or replacing a variety of roofing systems
- Diagnostic investigations and emergency services;
- Roof upgrades, installations, and deletions;
- On-call opportunities;
- Site mobilizations;
- Stripping and disposing of old roof,
- Loading and unloading material;
- Job site clean-up.
Skills/Qualification
- Must be a team player who is dependable and reliable
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced, high energy environment on the roof
- Weight handling can be over 45kg
- On site work environment is outdoors and subjected to all weather conditions.
- Work environment is on the roof and/or on the grounds that are dusty and noisy
- Worker must wear necessary Protective Equipment including but not limited to Safety Boots and Hi Vis vests
- Own transportation is an asset
- Ability to learn and follow our extensive safety policy
TQ or Red Seal certificate is would be an asset but not compulsory
- Intermediate English skills
