- Operate and maintain various types of heavy machinery, including material handlers, excavators, front end loader equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Safely and efficiently loading and unloading trailers, sorting different grades of metals, cleaning up around scrap piles, loading a shear and/or baler, along with other yard tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Working in a team environment with other employees in the yard using a two-way radio or CB
