Duties
- Take accurate orders from guests for food and drinks, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, following standard recipes and safety guidelines.
- Use POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process orders, payments, and refunds swiftly and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations in accordance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests warmly, addressing inquiries, and resolving any concerns promptly.
- Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling, serving, and alcohol service to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred; familiarity with serving and bartending is a plus.
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in hospitality settings.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
