Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced and welcoming Lead Server to help guide our front-of-house team and create memorable guest experiences. This role is hands-on and team-focused, supporting daily service, mentoring staff, and helping maintain the warm, genuine hospitality Burgoo is known for.
The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure, confident in service, and passionate about food, wine, and people.
Responsibilities
- Support and lead the front-of-house team during service
- Provide thoughtful, attentive guest service and help resolve guest concerns
- Use POS systems to manage orders and payments accurately
- Support sales through menu knowledge and genuine recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room and service areas
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and service standards are consistently followed
- Assist with training and coaching new team members
- Communicate effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Help create a positive, supportive, and team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in a busy restaurant environment
- Leadership or supervisory experience is an asset
- Strong communication and hospitality skills
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced setting
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to support the team

Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
