Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mould Repair / Polisher to join our manufacturing team. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and polishing molds used in production processes to ensure high-quality output and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with various tools. Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain, and polish molds to meet quality standards and specifications
- Use hand tools, welding equipment, and polishing machines to restore mold surfaces
- Interpret schematics, technical drawings for mold repair tasks
- Operate CNC machines such as CNC lathe, CNC milling machine, and CNC programming tools for precise machining
- Conduct measurements using calipers and other precision instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy
- Troubleshoot mold issues using mechanical knowledge and machining skills
- Document repair procedures and maintain detailed records of work performed
- Collaborate with engineering teams on mold modifications or improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience in mold repair, polishing, or related manufacturing roles
- Heavy lifting is involved.
- spray welding (will train)
- Using of die grinder and polishing
- Hands-on experience with CNC equipment including CNC lathe, CNC milling machine, and CNC programming
- Strong mechanical knowledge of machining processes and assembly techniques
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and mathematical measurements
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, welding equipment, calipers, and other precision instruments
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining operations, and quality standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $18.00-$27.00 per hour
