Eden House is seeking a Dietary Aide to work in our Long Term Care Home. Eden House is located off HWY # 7 between Guelph and Rockwood.

Key Responsibilities:
Committed to fulfilling the job embodying the philosophy of the Home and Resident's bill of Rights
Follow all policies and procedures of the Home as well as resident's care plans
Maintains a safe and clean environment as well as practices body mechanics especially relating to lifting
Completes all mandatory in-services and meetings
Contributes to and participates in a healthy work environment especially in regards to respect and communication with other staff
Is attentive to resident and family concerns and requests and re-directs when appropriate
Qualification:
Must have Food Handler Certificate or able to obtain
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Must be able to work with residents with cognitive impairment and residents with behavior challenges
MUST have own transportation as we are in a country setting and there are no means of public transit
must be able to work alternate weekends and help with call-ins

Pay: $22.62-$23.76 per hour
