Responsibilities
- Provide quality care and creative programming to children
- Build meaningful and positive relationships with children and families
- Provide attentive caregiving, ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of all children in the classroom
- Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive environment where every child feels respected and valued
- Guide children's behaviour using positive guidance techniques that encourage self-regulation, problem-solving, and empathy
- Support children in developing social and emotional skills through positive interactions and role modeling
- Help children resolve conflicts peacefully by encouraging communication, cooperation, and respect for others
- Assist children with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence
