We are an established Heating and Cooling company based in the Northshore with clients all over North Vancouver, West Vancouver, and the Lower Mainland. The company primarily focuses on service, repair, and installation of Fireplaces, Furnaces, Boilers, Water Heaters, and Air Conditioning units.
We are looking to hire a Permanent Customer Service Representative to join our team. The position is full-time, and requires the successful candidate to be present at our North Vancouver office during regular business hours.
The candidate must possess excellent English communication skills (both oral and written), and be able to communicate clearly over the phone. A polite disposition is required, as a majority of the workday is answering incoming calls. Candidates must also possess great computer skills and be a fast learner.
Training will be provided to employees. Training duration is typically three-four weeks.
Employee’s will be responsible of having their own mode of transportation to and from work.
Key Responsibilities Include, But are Not Limited To:
- Handling all incoming phone calls whilst providing good customer service
- Scheduling appointments over the phone and entering customer data into CRM and Dispatching software
- Booking online appointment requests
- Responding to customer emails and online messages
- Coordination with technicians and advising them of any schedule changes
- Conduct follow-up calls with clients
- Advise customers of any schedule changes
- Must be able to handle heavy inflow of communication by call and email.
Customer Service Skills:
- Have a friendly, positive, enthusiastic approach to Customer Service
- Fluent in English, with excellent written & oral communication skills
- Able to communicate clearly, and concisely in a timely manner (including being able to type quickly and accurately)
- Able to calmly de-escalate customer care situations on the rare occasion
Additional Skills:
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong time management skills
- Able to work work independently with limited supervision and as a team when needed
- Able to manage multiple conflicting priorities, reprioritize tasks, reestablish priorities, and meet deadlines

Job Type:
Salary:
- $19.00 - $25.00 (per hour), bi-weekly pay schedule
- Performance bonuses provided based upon review of work ethic.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday (8-4pm)
- Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)
- Overtime may also be requested on certain days (subject to employees confirmation)
- Not required to work on Statutory Holidays
