Location: On-site Manufacturing Facility at 13111 159 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5V 1H6
Position Type: Full-time
Shift: Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm OR Monday to Thursday 2:15 pm to 12:45 am
About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Welder to join our growing manufacturing team. Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in production welding, service and repair, prototype building, and fitter-welder tasks.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
· Meet production schedules and timelines to deliver products on schedule while conforming to company Quality Management System standards.
· Operate manual and automatic welding equipment (including arc welding, submerged arc welding, and MCAW processes) to fuse metal segments according to work orders and drawings.
· Read and interpret drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
· Inspect parts for defects and shape component parts using cutting torches, flame-cutting, brazing, and soldering equipment. Perform roll welding as required.
· Maintain a safe, clean working environment by adhering to all rules and procedures, including the proper handling and disposal of waste products into designated environmental containers.
· Safely operate an overhead crane and use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges) as required.
Qualifications & Experience
· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
· Registered apprentice or Journeyman/Red Seal Welder.
· Must be able to pass the CWB-S Classification test.
· Minimum of 3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment, including MCAW experience.
· Basic knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments and the ability to determine necessary tools and equipment.
· Demonstrated ability to safely operate an overhead crane.
· Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
· Strong problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
· Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
· Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with competing demands, changing priorities, and unexpected events.
