ROLE
Under the responsibility of the Sales Director, the Sales Manager's main roles include physical and telephone prospecting, analyzing markets and target customers, preparing proposals and contracts, developing sales reports, as well as achieving or exceeding the company's sales objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Target, solicit, and contract new accounts in specific market segments, such as corporate and group;
Position and promote the establishment and its services to the target clientele;
Make solicitation calls and conduct inspection visits to establish and maintain long-term business relationships;
Develop and maintain lasting business relationships with the target clientele;
Propose specific marketing actions to support market segments and develop existing accounts to meet or exceed sales targets;
Analyze supply, demand, and competition to propose sales strategies to different markets;
Enter, maintain, and update information in computer systems and ensure follow-up on files;
Participate in trade shows, external activities with clients, and undertake prospecting trips as needed;
Maintain good business relationships among various tourism stakeholders and hotel professionals in Montreal including the Palais des Congrès de Montréal, Tourisme Montréal, etc.;
Prepare and write weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports;
Maintain the confidentiality of hotel information, including conversations, personal information, and guest records;
Ensure customer satisfaction;
Comply with the standards of the establishment and RIMAP Hospitality;
Participate in the "manager on duty" program;
All other related tasks.
