What You'll Do
As a Swamper, you will:
- Assist operators with loading, unloading, and securing oilfield equipment.
- Safely rig, chain, and tarp loads as required.
- Guide operators during backing, positioning, and equipment moves.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and securement.
- Assist with general labour duties and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies, customer requirements, and industry safety standards.
- Work effectively as part of a team in various weather and job site conditions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- The ability to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy materials
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- A valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (Class 3 or Class 1 is considered an asset)
- Oilfield experience is an asset but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate
