Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Installation Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment at various client sites, ensuring seamless operations and excellent customer service. This role will also include sorting inventory in the shop and customer service on the other days. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse environments, commercial driving, and possess strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with clients and team members. Responsibilities
- Deliver and unload gym equipment using company cars.
- Assemble and install fitness machines: squat racks, Smith machines, functional trainers, benches, cable systems
- Perform adjustments, alignments, and basic troubleshooting during installation
- Communicate with customers professionally and respectfully
- Keep tools and work area organized and safe
- Help with warehouse tasks when needed
Requirements
- Must have own tools (hand tools, drill/driver, sockets, wrenches, etc.)
- Ability to lift 100–120 lbs with proper technique or assistance
- Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution skills — able to identify and fix installation issues independently
- Experience with assembly, mechanical work, construction, or moving industry preferred
- Valid driver’s license; clean driving record
- Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently
- Customer-service oriented
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
