We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 2 years of carpentry experience (framing, finishing, or both)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong understanding of Canadian building codes and safety regulations
- High attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Own basic hand tools (power tools are an asset)
Bonus if you have:
- Fall protection or other safety certifications
- Supervisory or crew lead experience
- Willingness to train apprentices or mentor junior carpenters
Location: Based in Sydney, Nova Scotia
Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
