We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support while assisting them with their purchases. You will need a strong mechanical aptitude. Your ability to communicate effectively and understand customer needs will be crucial in driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs.
- Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Assemble and test hand held power equipment.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the counter.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a welcoming environment for customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain inventory levels.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
- Work the Saturday shift is from 10:00 am to 3:00pm
Requirements
- Experience with STIHL, HUSKY or ECHO outdoor power equipment such as chainsaws, backpack blowers, trimmers and lawnmowers is a definite plus.
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Ability to engage with customers effectively and build rapport quickly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about new products and services.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
