Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our team. This role involves supporting food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring a smooth operation in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to food safety and guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking to meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste
- Support the serving of food and beverages to guests or customers as needed
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed in accordance with safety regulations
- Assist with meal assembly and plating for service
- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Provide friendly guest services by addressing customer inquiries and assisting with their needs
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Excellent cleaning and sanitation practices to uphold hygiene standards
- Hospitality experience including hotel or barista roles is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Good teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward guest service and collaboration

Pay: $16.35-$26.49 per hour
