Bomber Brewing is seeking a full-time packaging lead. The ideal candidate should have a passion for the craft beer industry, be clean, organized, mechanically inclined, and work well in a team environment, but still be self-directed as required. You will also need to be able to comfortably and safely lift a full keg. Experience with a Wild Goose Canning Line is a big asset and these candidates will be considered first.
Duties will include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing the canning line
- Carbonating and readying beer for packaging
- managing can inventory
- meeting with the production manager and brewing staff to plan weekly packaging
- operating canning line during packaging ensuring all procedures are followed
- warehousing of packaged beer
- cleaning and filling kegs
- warehousing of full kegs
- organizing and maintaining the yard and storage
- entering all packaging information into Brewery Software
Brewery and/or Mobile Canning experience is a definite asset, but the other qualities are equally important. This is a great job for a homebrewer that understands the importance of sanitation and order of operation.
You will also be cross-trained in cellaring, and various other aspects of brewing (cleaning tanks, filtering and carbonating beer).
Bomber Brewing is committed to being an inclusive and welcoming workspace. All qualified applicants will receive equal consideration without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, or age.
Please reply with resume. Interviewing this week and looking to get someone training immediately.
