Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role is essential to supporting various operational tasks across our projects and facilities. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Experience in general labour and maintenance would be an asset, training will be provided, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, supplies, and equipment
- Shipping and Receiving orders,
- Warehouse maintenance and organization.
- General maintenance of properties and facilities.
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance of tools, equipment, and workspaces
- Help with moving materials within the facility or job site as needed
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment
- Operate basic hand tools under supervision and report any equipment issues
- Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Reliable transportation to main office. (company vehicle provided for operational travel)
- Prior experience in construction, maintenance, plumbing, small engine repair and maintenance, mechanical knowledge an asset.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
Pay: $22.50-$28.00 per hour
