Responsibilities
- Supervise daily front-of-house operations, including serving, food handling, and customer service to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Lead and motivate team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Oversee food preparation and service processes, ensuring quality, presentation, and food safety compliance at all times.
- Manage POS systems such as Clover to process orders accurately and efficiently while handling cash transactions responsibly.
- Conduct interviews and assist with hiring new team members to build a strong, capable FOH staff.
- Monitor guest satisfaction levels actively, addressing concerns promptly to create memorable dining experiences.
- Ensure adherence to all health regulations, food safety standards, and proper food handling procedures in line with industry best practices.
Requirements
- Proven supervising or team management experience within the food service or hospitality industry.
- Extensive food service experience including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating welcoming environments for guests.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper kitchen and restaurant hygiene practices.
- Previous restaurant management or hotel experience is highly desirable; barista experience is a plus.
- Ability to interview potential team members confidently and contribute to hiring decisions.
