Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber Subcontractor to join our team for a project in London Ontario. The ideal candidate would be small plumbing company/ owner operator who is licensed and insured and whose looking to pick up more work to fill their schedule. possess extensive experience in plumbing and construction, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse commercial and residential plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks. Candidates must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools efficiently and safely
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for project completion
- Conduct troubleshooting to identify plumbing issues and implement effective solutions
- Assist in assembly of plumbing components and related systems according to specifications
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry or HVAC teams when necessary for integrated projects
- Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plumbing, construction, or related fields with a strong understanding of mechanical systems
- Knowledge of carpentry, HVAC systems, welding, and blueprint reading is highly desirable
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and assembly techniques
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations
- Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving preferred
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments while maintaining safety standards
