Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient and friendly food service
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety procedures
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Experience with meal preparation and serving in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
- Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure customer health and safety
- Previous roles involving kitchen experience, restaurant service, or culinary training will be considered a plus
