Job Summary
We are seeking friendly and efficient Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements efficiently
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Process transactions with cash handling and basic math skills, including cashing out guests
- Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Serve food and beverages promptly while upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, tables, and service stations
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation protocols throughout service
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; knowledge of the food industry is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and upselling items effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not required
- Upselling abilities to promote menu items and increase sales potential
