Walker Custom Aluminum Boats is looking for a reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented Marine Install / Service Technician to join our team. We build premium custom aluminum boats and need someone who takes pride in clean installations, quality workmanship, and helping deliver finished boats our customers are proud to own.
Responsibilities
- Installing marine accessories, electronics, wiring, batteries, lighting, pumps, and hardware
- Assisting with rigging, setup, testing, and final finishing of custom aluminum boats
- Troubleshooting basic electrical, mechanical, and marine system issues
- Performing service work, repairs, upgrades, and customer-requested installations
- Reading work orders, following build notes, and completing tasks accurately
- Keeping tools, parts, and work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Working with the production team to meet quality standards and deadlines
Qualifications
- Experience with marine installations, mechanical work, electrical work, or related trades
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of 12V wiring, marine electronics, plumbing, or boat systems is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, professional workmanship
- Able to follow instructions, work independently, and solve problems
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Marine industry, fabrication, automotive, RV, or mechanical experience is a bonus
