Overview
We are seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as ProTect Staff. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and security at various rodeo's and licensed events in and around Calgary. ProTect Staff members are responsible for maintaining a secure environment, responding to incidents, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security protocols are followed.
- Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as needed.
- Provide assistance and support to staff, visitors, and clients while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential security risks or hazards.
- Document incidents and prepare reports as required.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on safety procedures and protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in security or safety management is a plus.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous experience in security or bar experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: $16.50-$18.00 per year
