Responsibilities
- Safely operate vehicles to transport clients to various destinations in a timely manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, performing routine inspections and basic mechanical checks.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding pick-up times, routes, and any changes in schedule.
- Assist clients with loading and unloading luggage or freight as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Manage logistics for moving freight when required, including coordinating with dispatchers or warehouse personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance performed on the vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus for handling freight transportation tasks.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to lift heavy items as required during moving tasks.
- Previous experience in a chauffeur or driving role is advantageous but not mandatory.
