Local manufacturing company is seeking a dependable, hands-on Skilled Labourer to join our growing team. This position involves measuring, cutting, assembly work, packaging, shipping, and general shop duties. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, pays attention to detail, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Measure and cut materials accurately
- Assemble finished products according to specifications
- Package and prepare orders for shipment
- Load and unload materials and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform quality control checks on completed work
- Assist with deliveries and other shop-related tasks as required
Qualifications
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform precise measurements
- Comfortable performing repetitive precision work while maintaining quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid driver's licence required
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are considered strong assets
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction, woodworking, assembly, or related fields is an asset
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production requirements
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
