I’m looking for a reliable, experienced dog walker to provide coverage for three large rescue dogs when I’m unavailable.
About the dogs:
- Three large rescue dogs
- One-hour walks
- Each dog has a unique personality and background, so it’s important that you’re comfortable working with different behaviors
- Experience with large, reactive, or rescue dogs is a significant asset
What I’m looking for:
- Confident handling large dogs
- Experience reading canine body language and managing different behaviors
- Calm, patient, and safety-focused
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable following detailed instructions
- Professional, courteous, and comfortable interacting with clients, as you’ll be representing my dog walking business while providing care
About the position:This is a casual position with opportunities for vacation coverage at various times throughout the year, as well as the occasional walk or visit when needed. Most dates will be provided well in advance, although some shorter-notice coverage may occasionally be available.
Successful applicants will complete one or more meet-and-greet/training sessions before working independently. This allows you to become familiar with the dogs, their routines, and my handling expectations while ensuring it’s a good fit for everyone.

Pay: $55.00 per hour
