Overview:
G-Force Security is currently seeking professional, reliable, and adaptable Security Guards to join our expanding team. This role is well suited for individuals who are customer-focused, dependable, and committed to creating a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff, and assets. As a Security Guard, you will play a key role in protecting property, preventing security incidents, and supporting safe, efficient operations at assigned locations.
Duties:
- Maintain a visible and consistent security presence to deter unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism.
- Conduct regular patrols and monitor the premises to ensure safety and compliance with site protocols.
- Control site access by verifying identification, logging entries and exits, and permitting only authorized individuals.
- Observe, document, and promptly report suspicious activities, safety concerns, or potential hazards.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in accordance with established procedures.
- Complete accurate and timely reports detailing daily activities and any incidents.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (Required).
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement (preferred).
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control procedures, and loss prevention techniques (considered an asset).
- Strong situational awareness with the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills.
- Reliable, adaptable, and available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
