Position – Full-time (Dayshift)
We are seeking a CNC Machinist who enjoys the challenges that come with working to tight tolerances on a regular basis (+/- 0.0001”). We are looking for someone who wants to excel in multiple areas, and is willing to work overtime when needed. You will be responsible for maintaining multiple machines, and/or updating existing programs depending on what work area you are in. Possible work areas include, but not limited to; CNC mill, lathe, ram edm, wire edm, form grind, and surface grind. The successful candidate will work closely with the shop foreman, as well as other co-workers within the departments to ensure parts are of the highest quality. Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or completion of apprenticeship plus a minimum 3 year’s industry experience.
- Familiar with a tool shop environment
Skills and Abilities: Ability to set up and program CNC machines and use precision measuring tools.
- Knowledge of mastercam, cam-tool, and/or other cad/cam software a bonus
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently as well with others
- Good communication, organizational and planning skills.
- Creativity, dexterity, and design skills a must.
- Positive attitude, enthusiastic, respectful and courteous in all relations with fellow co-workers
Duties and Responsibilities: Possibly program new revisions of new or rework parts within the shop Setting up, programming, and running the machine as well as other machines in the area.
- Other duties as required.
Hourly Wage: $25 to 34/hr + Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package.Shift: Mon-Fri (8 hour days) 7:00 am to 3:30 pm , with flexibility for overtime
Education: Red Seal or AB Journeyman’s machining ticket preferred.
