Line Cook — Lost in Tokyo (Queen West)
Lost in Tokyo is a Japanese-inspired parfait café and cocktail bar on Queen Street West. We serve a small, carefully crafted menu in a cozy, retro-Tokyo space. Our kitchen is compact and our menu is fixed — so we're looking for someone who takes pride in doing a handful of dishes consistently and well.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dinner dishes during evening service independently.
- Set up and maintain your station for service
- Ensure food quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements
- Previous restaurant kitchen experience required
- Ability to work evening and weekend shifts
- Able to work efficiently during busy service
- Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Japanese or other Asian restaurants
Compensation
- $18–$24/hour, depending on experience
