Duties
- Remove damaged or broken auto glass safely and efficiently using appropriate hand and power tools
- Install new windshields, side windows, rear windows, and other automotive glass components with precision
- Inspect vehicles for additional repair needs related to glass or structural integrity and communicate findings effectively
- Use heavy lifting techniques and equipment to handle large or awkward glass components safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools are properly stored and equipment is functioning correctly
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all installation procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and addressing any questions or concerns
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or automotive repair background with a focus on auto glass installation preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle structures and glass fitting requirements
- Proficiency with hand tools such as pry bars, scrapers, and sealant guns; experience with power tools is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy glass components safely and consistently throughout the workday
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes, including minor bodywork or structural assessments is advantageous
- Mechanical aptitude combined with attention to detail ensures precise installations every time
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and providing top-tier customer service

Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour
