The purpose of this position is to implement the literature fulfillment program on behalf of Tourism PEI, coordinate the distribution of supplies to Provincial Parks and fulfill literature requests from Visitor Information Centers, Provincial Parks and the public. This position will handle the fulfillment center budget, process expenditures and control the issuance and maintenance of all Ministry promotional displays.
Duties include:
- Manage the Tourism PEI Fulfillment Center, including inventory control, warehousing and equipment that serves both the Tourism PEI marketing campaign and literature, and PEI Provincial Parks;
- Maintain an online tracking system through Dynamics CRM, coordinate the catalogue reply program and ensure timely responses to inquiries;
- Coordinate weekly delivery of supplies to Provincial Parks, ensuring all campgrounds, day-use parks, and the Mark Arendz facilities receive all required materials;
- Oversee the Private Literature Distribution System (PLDS) from tourism operators to Visitor Information Centers province-wide, including the production of personalized letters and customized kits for target campaigns;
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to support tourism promotion initiatives;
- Receive and reconcile invoices, track expenditures, and manage the fulfillment center budget;
- Collaborate with vendors to procure supplies throughout the seasons;
- Complete, authorize and maintain travel claims, mileage tracking, vacation or leave requests;
- Supervise, train, and schedule the Distribution team and summer students; and
- Other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of a diploma in a related field (business, tourism, marketing);
- Demonstrated equivalencies will be considered;
- Considerable experience in logistics, fulfillment, or inventory management tools;
- Considerable experience with MS Word, Excel, Google documents;
- Knowledge of couriers, shipping companies and Canada Post mailing processes;
- Completion of the Forklift Operators Course (or willing to obtain);
- Valid Class 4 Driver’s license;
- Strong written and oral communication skills;
- Strong computer proficiency skills;
- Ability to lift 50lbs;
Other Qualifications:
- First Aid considered an asset.
- WHIMIS considered an asset.
