Stouffville Village is seeking a reliable and caring RECE Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, nurturing, and passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs based on children's interests and needs.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Observe, document, and assess children's growth and development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and centre policies.
- Support children's emotional well-being and encourage positive social interactions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and centre events.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children
- Current First Aid & CPR Level C certification
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and reliability with availability
