,Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Loader/Unloader to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of goods, maintaining safety standards, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and shipping & receiving processes.
Duties
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, or cranes
- Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments and maintaining accurate records within warehouse management systems
- Conduct heavy lifting of items up to specified weight limits while adhering to safety guidelines
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred, especially in distribution or shipping & receiving roles
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous
- Experience with order picking, load & unload procedures.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout the shift
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
