Job Description
Rocanda is actively seeking a Mix Plant Operator to help manufacture non-hazardous chemicals for the oilfield. The successful candidate will also be cross-trained for other positions to cover as required. This position will be for our Afternoon shift, from 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM. Monday - Friday
Responsibilities include:
- Weighing and staging raw materials
- Ability to multi-task assignments and prioritize
- Maintaining equipment as required
- Blending products such as clay stabilizers, scale inhibitors and friction reducers
- Forklift operation
- Transferring product between shops
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Have previous experience working with chemical blending
- have previous experience working with a crew of 4-6 staff / supervisory role
- Must have a valid Class 5 license
- Prior forklift certification/operation is an asset
- Experience with different pumps such as Bowie & Diaphragm considered an asset
- Mechanical background experience is a must

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
