We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer Fundraising Manager to join our growing team and help secure the financial resources necessary to expand our programs and services.
Position Summary
The Volunteer Fundraising Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising initiatives, building strategic partnerships, and identifying funding opportunities to support the organization's mission. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in nonprofit leadership, donor relations, and community development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual fundraising strategies and campaigns.
- Identify potential donors, sponsors, and funding opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, corporations, and philanthropic organizations.
- Assist in preparing grant applications, funding proposals, and sponsorship packages.
- Coordinate fundraising events and donor engagement activities.
- Develop online fundraising campaigns and community outreach initiatives.
- Maintain donor records and prepare fundraising reports.
- Collaborate with the executive team to establish fundraising goals and priorities.
- Promote the organization's mission and programs to potential supporters.
- Support partnership development with businesses and community organizations.
Qualifications
- Background or interest in fundraising, nonprofit management, business development, communications, marketing, or public relations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Experience with grant writing or donor relations is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Passion for making a positive impact within Canadian communities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online communication platforms.
