Telco General Labourer(s) / Directional Drill / Hydro Vac / Mini Excavator Operator(s) with AZ - DZ license

We currently have immediate openings for experienced Vac, Directional Drilling, Mini Excavator Operators and Laborer's in the Oakville and surrounding area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate mini excavator/skid steer, Vac, and Directional drills and general Labourers.
- Install telecommunications cables/vaults underground.
- Reading and interpreting plans and locates.
- Perform construction tasks using rakes and shovels.
- Lay pipe and PVC conduit and install associated fibre cable.
- Load and unload equipment and cable trailers.
- Must wear all applicable Personal Protective Equipment provided as job function dictates.
- Able to manage a physically demanding workload, which includes heavy lifting, digging etc.
- Able to work in all weather conditions.
- Able to work various shifts (days, evenings, weekends) to meet business needs.
- Self-motivated, demonstrated effective decision-making skills with limited supervision.
- Able to plan, organize and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Able to effectively work in a team environment.
- Must follow safe work practices and abide by all safety rules and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
