POSITION: Project Coordinator
REPORTS TO: General Manager
STATUS: Full-time/permanent/salary/non-exempt

Enlightened Clean Energy focuses on the deployment of renewable technologies that include Solar PV, Energy Storage and Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations. Working as part of the Projects Team, the Project Coordinator will be responsible to perform coordination activities to successfully execute these projects. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members, subcontractors, and suppliers in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Coordinator will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Work with the Projects Team to direct and coordinate project development from beginning to end.

Coordinate and track progress of design sub-contractors, equipment suppliers, and installation sub-contractors to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Work with various regulatory bodies to submit and track necessary permit applications for projects (LDC, ESA, building permits, etc.).

Issue and track purchase orders to suppliers, vendors, and sub-contractors for projects.

Collect and track all necessary documentation sub-contractors, including WSIB and Insurance Certificates.

Report and communicate the progress and status of projects to customers as required.

Issue monthly billing applications for projects based on site progress.

Compile and submit necessary shop drawing/design submissions to customers and track the shop drawing/design approval process.

Compile and submit project close out documents to customers and ensure all necessary legal and regulatory paperwork is filed.

Set up, and complete billing work orders for small projects.

Monitor work progress and schedules of contractors and subcontractors to ensure projects conform to plans, specifications, timelines, and budgets.

Support the team in monitoring the performance of existing assets; and where necessary coordinating troubleshooting of issues with technicians.

Administering and coordinating warranty claims for customers.

Assist the team in evaluatng subcontractor or vendor bids for quality, cost, and reliability.

Reviewing and assessing work order budgets to ensure costs are managed effectively.

Assist with creating customer proposals, and RFP/ bid submissions, and marketing material as required.

Attend customer meetings, presenting information on existing or new opportunities as required.

PROFESSIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

University Degree, College diploma or related experience required.

Working towards PMP designation
-
1-3 years administration experience, including project coordination in the construction or renewable energy industry.

Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings and plans is preferred.

Strong oral and written communication skills
-
High level of work accuracy and attention to detail.

General knowledge of and ability to research local, provincial and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances and legislation.

Use of a fully insured and reliability vehicle to travel to and from jobsite and offsite locations.

Class G drivers license in good standing.

Office environment with frequent sitting at desk.

Occasional travel within GTA by vehicle

Safety equipment will be required on site, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.

Ability to occasionally attend and conduct presentations which may be after regular office hours (Chris to confirm)

Overtime as required.

May be exposed to construction sites, including high-rise buildings and commercial building rooftops

Manual dexterity required to use computer and peripherals.

Lifting or moving up to 20lbs may be required.
