Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently to deliver products across your territory, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Build strong relationships with retail partners by providing excellent customer service, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions.
- Promote upselling opportunities by introducing new products, special offers, or merchandising ideas to maximize sales potential.
- Conduct regular merchandising visits to ensure product displays are attractive, well-stocked, and compliant with branding standards.
- Manage inventory levels through accurate pricing, stock rotation, and reporting to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Perform heavy lifting of products during deliveries and restocking activities while maintaining proper safety protocols.
- Utilize organizational skills to plan efficient routes, schedule visits, and keep detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers, team members, and management.
- Proven ability in sales techniques including upselling and customer service excellence.
- Basic math skills for handling pricing, inventory counts, and order calculations accurately.
- Knowledge of merchandising standards and the ability to implement visual displays that attract customers.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during deliveries or store visits.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules, route planning, and documentation efficiently.
