Position: Geophysicist
Location: Calgary, Alberta (must reside locally)

We are expanding our Calgary-based team and are seeking a Geophysicist – Mining & Energy who is passionate, driven, and ready to take their career to the next level.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a core member of our technical team, you’ll lead and contribute to a range of exciting projects across both mining and energy geophysics:
- Business Development: Drive growth through strategic proposal writing, client engagement, and support for marketing and sales activities.
- Project Management: Plan and execute geophysical projects (multiple methods) from start to finish.
- Field Acquisition: Lead and supervise field programs both in Canada and internationally—including challenging environments such as remote regions, arctic conditions, and underground operations.
- Data Analysis: Process, interpret, and report geophysical data with clarity and precision.
- Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or related discipline (required);
Master’s degree (preferred)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in applied geophysics within the mining and/or energy sectors
- At least 4 years in business development or client-facing roles
- Registered or eligible for registration as a P.Geo or P.Geoph.
Required Skills:
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills (essential)
- Strong industry connections with both junior and major resource companies
- Demonstrated leadership in both field and office-based environments
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally for field assignments
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Must reside in the Calgary area

Pay: $74,388.15-$119,052.49 per year
