Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles promptly and accurately
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for cash handling, credit card processing, and sales transactions
- Conduct product demos and upsell items such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories to enhance customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station, including merchandising displays and convenience store areas
- Monitor fuel levels, check for leaks or safety hazards, and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products or services offered
- Manage time effectively to serve customers efficiently during busy periods while maintaining high standards of service
Requirements
- Previous Gas station experience preferred
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction processing
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising, and customer service best practices
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Friendly phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills to engage with customers confidently
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
